1. Scope and acceptance
These are general terms for business customers. Contractual application requires that they be provided before ordering and accepted for the transaction. A footer link alone is not acceptance. Separately agreed terms and mandatory law prevail.
2. Quotations and orders
The written quotation specifies price, currency, quantity, validity, payment schedule, configuration and lead time. RMS communicates acceptance by written order confirmation. A form submission is not payment or order acceptance. The price and timing effects of later changes require agreement.
3. Delivery and freight
The quotation or order confirmation specifies the delivery rule, named place and any applicable Incoterms edition. Taxes, customs, insurance and freight are allocated accordingly. Quoted freight is provisional until weights, dimensions and carrier charges are confirmed; the final amount is agreed before dispatch. Acceptance of unilateral additional charges is not presumed.
4. Receipt and notifications
Inspect packaging and products on delivery; record visible transport damage on delivery documents and promptly notify RMS. Product codes, quantities, serial/LOT details and photographs assist assessment. Applicable statutory inspection and notice periods apply; this page does not introduce a shorter forfeiture period.
5. Custom products, cancellation and returns
Cancellation or modification of custom orders after production begins is assessed by written agreement, taking completed work and costs into account. Request return instructions before dispatch; this procedure does not extinguish statutory claims. Alleged defects are assessed under the Warranty and Returns process.
6. Governing law
For international transactions, governing law, dispute resolution and the application of international sales rules should be addressed in the transaction contract. This general page alone does not select a court or governing law. Mandatory consumer rights remain where applicable.
