RMS provides solutions for fluid transfer in industrial systems through its product ranges: rotary joints, swivel joints, and multi-passage units. Our products vary based on different types of motion, connection requirements, and operating conditions.
A rotary joint is typically used for transferring fluid to machine components that rotate continuously. A swivel joint, on the other hand, accommodates movement within lines that rotate or change direction. The appropriate product should be selected based on the specific type of motion and operating conditions.
Multi-passage units allow multiple fluid lines to be conveyed through a single rotary connection via separate channels. The number of channels, the types of fluids used, and the operating conditions for each channel are determined by the specific application.
Depending on the product range and model, options are available for use with water, steam, thermal oil, air, hydraulic oil, and coolants. Not every model is compatible with all fluids; material and seal compatibility must be verified before selection.
You can provide us with details such as the type of fluid, operating pressure, temperature, rotational speed (RPM), connection size, and the nature of the motion. Technical drawings, existing product codes, and photographs of the application also help facilitate the evaluation process.
It should not be assumed that these maximum values apply simultaneously. The permissible operating range depends on the fluid, the sealing configuration, and the specific application conditions. The combination of operating parameters must be verified for the specific model in question.
For an assessment of compatibility, please provide the code, dimensions, and operating conditions of your current product. A similar external appearance or connection size is not sufficient on its own; factors such as mounting, flow capacity, materials, and sealing characteristics must also be compared.
You may submit requests for non-standard connections, dimensions, materials, or port configurations, accompanied by technical drawings and operational details. Feasibility, minimum quantities, and lead times will be evaluated based on your specific requirements.
Catalogs, brochures, data sheets, and operation and maintenance manuals are available via our Technical Center. Documents specific to each model can be found on the relevant product page. If you cannot locate the document you need, please feel free to contact us.
Always follow the installation, operation, and maintenance instructions provided for the specific model. Pay close attention to connection alignment, any loads exerted on the product by hoses, fluid cleanliness, and operational limits. Before performing maintenance, ensure the system is safely shut down, depressurized, and allowed to cool to a safe temperature.
The availability of spare parts and repair kits varies by model. Providing the product code, any label or LOT information, and photographs of the product will help us identify the correct parts.
Simply provide the product code or application details, the quantity required, and the destination country for delivery. You may also include technical drawings and any specific requirements, if applicable. You can use the quote request form on our website or send an email to sales@rmechs.com.
Lead times are determined based on the product model, stock availability, order quantity, and any custom manufacturing requirements. Shipping methods and delivery terms are clarified during the quotation stage, depending on the destination country and the specific conditions of the order.
Please contact us and provide the product code, order details, operating conditions, and photographs or videos illustrating the issue. Warranty coverage and the inspection process will be addressed in accordance with the applicable terms of sale and a technical assessment.
